mTw eliminates MYM

DreamHack Winter winners from MYM have been eliminated in the tournament, following a 16-13 defeat to mTw on de_dust2.

After taking a beat against Evil Geniuses, mTw recovered with a 16-13 win against MYM. Starting on the stronger T-side on dust2, MYM had trouble making their way through the Danish defense. The Danes went to take seven rounds as CT, which is counted as fairly good, considered they lost the pistol-round.

As T things started bad for mTw, losing the pistol-round (again). But with a AWP in hand, Martin "trace" Bang sorted things for mTw, helped great by the team stand-in Timm "ArcadioN" Henriksen. MYM was still breathing down the neck of mTw, as they continued to take key-rounds to keep their economy up. The Danes managed a win, following successful attacks on the A-bombsite, finishing at a 16-13 win for mTw.

mTw now face UNiTED in the lower-bracket, the two met in the group-stage, where UNiTED managed to defeat the Danes. MYM are out of the tournament, you will be able to follow them next week, as they will be attending World Esports Masters in Hangzhou, China.
